My experience at Lexus Hatfield could have been better because when I initially contacted the dealer I was put through to a nice person in sales who was going to send me some extra information. I’m not going to name him because this is for the dealership to investigate.
While dealing with him I received a call from another sales person who could only be described as rude and boisterous. I’m also not going to name him on here. I asked him what had happened to the original guy and he told me that that guy only deals with brand-new car sales I later found out that this was a complete lie. He was rude, boisterous, pushy and upsetting..
I spoke to my dad who I was helping to buy the car and we decided that we still wanted to try and purchase it so I called back and luckily I spoke to a man called Pravin. I am choosing to name him because of the positive experience.. to be fair he saved the day I explained to him all that had happened and the terrible experience. I’ve had up until now he took charge of the situation was polite, friendly honest and had a very calming way about him if it wasn’t for him, I would’ve never come to see the car.
To be fair to him he should really be running the place because all my experience is up to dealing with him made me feel like the sales team. I just like a pack of dogs snarling and fighting to get to the prize..
Unfortunately, this is not the end of the negative experience.
When we came to collect the car, I noticed that the add blue injector under the bonnet was leaking and had been for some time. Unfortunately, the very fact that the previous day the car had been through its sales service program in the engineering department speaks volumes too.
It was the most obvious thing to see and to be fair to Pravin, he was mortified.
We bought the car regardless because Lexus Hatfield are paying for it to be repaired by specialist.
I don’t know what’s gone wrong here however something is clearly very wrong. I would’ve expected nothing short of an impeccable experience from a company such as Lexus.
I hope someone listens to this because I’m sure you’re losing a lot of business from repeat customers and recommendations.
And please promote Pravin he is definitely an asset to your team and not recognised for his massive contributions.
